This 6-day camping safari on the northern circuit of Tanzania, takes you to the most famous and incredible parks whereby you will visit all major parks which are Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. In Tarangire, you will be astonished by the large African elephants as well as the huge and ancient baobab trees. Ngorogoro crater will be the icing on the cake and the best place to visit the endangered black rhinos, Serengeti National Park which has the largest concentration of wildlife and Lake Manyara National Park which is famous for the tree climbing lions and the birds’ population. You will sleep in tents set on the ground with the crew and you will also have a private chef who will prepare all your meals.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT TO ARUSHA
Upon arrival at the airport in Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO), you will be met and welcomed by your representative from Gardenia African Safaris who will give you a short brief before you drive to your lodgings in Arusha for overnight.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at your Arusha hotel around 7:30-8:00 AM, drive 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Spanning 2,603 square kilometers, the park hosts diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, lions, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch around noon, then continue your game drive until late afternoon before heading to your Mto wa Mbu campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: MTO WA MBU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at your Mto wa Mbu lodge around 7:30-8:00 AM, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Serengeti, covering approximately 14,763 square kilometers, is renowned for its vast wildlife population, including the famous annual migration of over a million wildebeests and 250,000 zebras. Home to more than 500 bird species and diverse animals like lions, leopards, and giraffes, the park features varying landscapes from short grass plains to hilly areas and forests. While it can be visited year-round, the best time is during the dry season from June to October.
Lunch will be served inside the park and afterwards, proceed with game viewing until the evening where you will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation inside Serengeti, you will start an early morning game drive looking for the big cats and the active animals. Lunch will be served inside the park whereby after that you will proceed exploring the park and all that it has to offer from the landscape, wildlife and many more. In the evening, you will drive back to your camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CRATER TO MTO WA MBU
After breakfast at your Serengeti accommodation, drive approximately 3 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at a viewpoint to admire the 600-meter deep Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site home to about 25,000 mammals and over 500 bird species, including migratory flamingos. This area is ideal for spotting endangered black rhinos and various wildlife like zebras, wildebeests, and lions. Enjoy a packed lunch at the Ngoitoktok picnic site by the hippo pool, then complete your game drive before ascending the crater and heading to your Mto wa Mbu accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA
After breakfast at your camp around 7:30-8:00 AM, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a 1-hour drive. Known for its birdlife and tree-climbing lions, the park covers 325 square kilometers, with a third being a shallow alkaline lake that attracts many bird species, including flamingos and pelicans. Wildlife includes elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Located in the Rift Valley, the park offers activities like forest hikes and walking safaris. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site, then drive to Arusha for a farewell from Gardenia African Safaris. Additional nights can be arranged, or you’ll be taken to the airport for your onward flight.
