This 6-day midrange honeymoon safari & Beach, takes you to the most famous and incredible parks whereby you will visit two parks which are Tarangire and Ngorongoro. In Tarangire, you will be astonished by the large African elephants as well as the huge and ancient baobab trees. Ngorongoro crater will be the icing on the cake and the best place to visit the endangered black rhinos. At the end of your safari, you will fly to Zanzibar. You will sleep in lodges with private showers.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT TO ARUSHA

Upon arrival at the airport in Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO), you will be met and welcomed by your representative from Gardenia African Safaris who will give you a short brief before you drive to your lodgings in Arusha for overnight.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at your Arusha hotel around 7:30 to 8:00 AM, you’ll be picked up by your driver-guide for a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire spans approximately 2,603 square kilometers.

The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffalos, lions, leopards, and many more. With over 500 bird species, such as bee-eaters and kori bustards, it’s a birdwatcher’s paradise. The name Tarangire, meaning “river of warthogs” in the Mbugwe language, highlights the importance of the Tarangire River as a vital water source for both herbivores and predators.

Lunch will be served at a picnic site around noon. After lunch, you’ll continue your game drive until late afternoon, before exiting the park and heading to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER TO KARATU

After breakfast at your Karatu lodge around 7:30 to 8:00 AM, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a one-hour drive to the gate. The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and geo-park, is 600 meters deep. Before descending, you’ll stop at a viewpoint to admire the crater.

Home to about 25,000 mammals and over 500 bird species, including migratory flamingos, Ngorongoro is the best place in East Africa to see endangered black rhinos, completing the Big Five. You’ll encounter zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, lions, gazelles, and more within the crater’s 20 km diameter, making it easy to spot wildlife. You can spend 5-6 hours exploring the area.

A highlight is the Ngoitoktok picnic site, a hippo pool where you’ll enjoy a packed lunch. After lunch, you’ll finish your game drive before ascending the crater and returning to your Karatu accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

DAY 4: KARATU TO ARUSHA AIRPORT TO ZANZIBAR

Early morning after having breakfast, you will pack your luggage and get ready for your transfer to Arusha airport (ARK) to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar airport (ZNZ), our private representative will meet you and drive straight to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Destination: Nungwi

DAY 5: FULL DAYS RELAXATION IN ZANZIBAR

Nungwi is located on the northern tip of Zanzibar with white sands and turquoise clear water where you can relax and enjoy your honeymoon stay. You can choose to stay at the hotel or go swimming at the ocean. If you would like to do different activities such as snorkeling, dolphin tour, safari blue, diving, we can arrange that for you or you can arrange at the hotel and you will be guided. The changes of the tides in Nungwi is different than other parts therefore it is calm.

You will spend a total of 2 nights in Nungwi.

DAY 6: ONWARDS TRAVEL TO THE NEXT DESTINATION
