This 7-day midrange family safari & Beach, takes you to the most famous and incredible parks whereby you will visit two parks which are Tarangire and Ngorongoro. In Tarangire, you will be astonished by the large African elephants as well as the huge and ancient baobab trees. Ngorongoro crater will be the icing on the cake and the best place to visit the endangered black rhinos. At the end of your safari, you will fly to Zanzibar. You will sleep in lodges with private showers.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT TO ARUSHA

Upon arrival at the airport in Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO), you will be met and welcomed by your representative from Gardenia African Safaris who will give you a short brief before you drive to your lodgings in Arusha for overnight.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at your Arusha hotel around 7:30 AM, you’ll be picked up by your driver-guide for a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, the park spans 2,603 square kilometers and is home to diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. The Tarangire River, essential for wildlife during the dry season, gives the park its name, meaning “river of warthogs.” After a picnic lunch around noon, you’ll continue your game drive before heading to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER TO KARATU

After breakfast at your Karatu lodge around 7:30 AM, you’ll drive one hour to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is 600 meters deep, with a viewpoint for stunning views before you descend. Home to about 25,000 mammals and over 500 bird species, including flamingos, it’s ideal for spotting endangered black rhinos and other wildlife like zebras and lions. Enjoy a packed lunch at the Ngoitoktok picnic site, known for its hippo pool, before concluding your game drive and returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 4: KARATU TO ARUSHA AIRPORT TO ZANZIBAR

Early morning after having breakfast, you will pack your luggage and get ready for your transfer to Arusha airport (ARK) to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar airport (ZNZ), our private representative will meet you and drive straight to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Destination: Nungwi

Meal: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 5 & 6: FULL DAYS RELAXATION IN ZANZIBAR

Nungwi is located on the northern tip of Zanzibar with white sands and turquoise clear water where you can relax and enjoy your honeymoon stay. You can choose to stay at the hotel or go swimming at the ocean. If you would like to do different activities such as snorkeling, dolphin tour, safari blue, diving, we can arrange that for you or you can arrange at the hotel and you will be guided. The changes of the tides in Nungwi is different than other parts therefore it is calm.

You will spend a total of 3 nights in Nungwi.

DAY 7: ONWARDS TRAVEL TO THE NEXT DESTINATION
