TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. BOOKINGS

Bookings should be confirmed in written form via email or any other means. Gardenia African Safaris will consider your booking valid after you have made a payment of 30% deposit of the total cost of your tour. You will need to send a proof of payment for the transaction that you have made.

  1. DEPOSIT

We always require a deposit of 30% when you confirm your tour with us. The rest of the balance should be paid 4 weeks before arrival. If your booking is less than 4 weeks before arrival, we require a full amount for your booking.

  1. METHODS OF PAYMENT

Payment should be made via bank transfer and credit card online payment.

  1. AMENDMENTS OF YOUR TOUR

Any amendments that are done by you will not incur any extra cost but if there are any changes in addition to your previous tour, we will add the price accordingly.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY
70 days and more, loss of the deposit (non-refundable)
65 to 60 days, 30% of the total cost
60 to 40 days, 60% of the total cost
40 to 20 days, 90% of the total cost
Less than 20 days, 100% of the total cost

 

  1. REFUNDS

In case you are unable to travel as planned due to some reasons, we do not recommend you to ask for a refund since the above cancellation policies will apply. We do suggest that you postpone your tour to future dates that you can be able to rebook your safari.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

If the company is affected by any unforeseen events (like explosions, floods, accidents, fires, sickness, government intervention or weather condition), Gardenia African Safaris shall not be held responsible in any way for any of these possible any consequences or occurrences, which may arise as a result of these events.

  1. CHANGES IN PRICE

All the prices that we offer are based on the current fees from the Government and if there are any changes, we will notify you soon and we will ask you to add the slight changes in price. This is mainly the Government tax rates.

  1. MARKETING

The Company has the right to use the photographs and videos taken during your tour for marketing purpose or any other advertising material. The client hereby agrees to use such materials and authorises the Company to retain copyright for these photographs and such material.

  1. PERSONAL TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

It is very important for you to go through all the necessary documents once you have received them like the tickets etc. so as to avoid any complications before you travel.

  1. INSURANCE

It is important for the guests to have the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance, as well as any travelling companions for the whole duration of their trip to Tanzania. It is important for this insurance to include repatriation expenses and medical expenses.

  1. VISAS, PASSPORTS & OTHER TRAVEL PAPERS

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that his or her visas, passports, vaccinations, health certificates and any other documents required are all in good order for the countries to be visited.

  1. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND DISABILITIES

If you or any other member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your holiday, please inform us before you confirm your booking with us so that we can provide advice as to the suitability of the arrangements. In any case, you must provide us with full details in writing at the time of booking in any method.

  1. DISPUTES

If you have any complaints while travelling, you must immediately let the management know via the email info@gardeniaafricansafaris.com or any contacts on the website.
